Support & Opportunities

In addition to receiving, on average, highly competitive financial support, Jackson School students have the chance to work during the academic year or summer at any one of the school's three main units, all of which are highly active in basic and applied geoscience research. Many also work at other university units, like the Vertebrate and Non-vertebrate paleontology labs, which are closely affiliated with the Department of Geological Sciences. The breadth and depth of opportunities expands options and makes the school one of the best places to pursue an advanced degree.
