Instructions for Submitting to This Week in Geosciences (TWIG) & JSG Digital Screens

To promote your lecture, tech session, or talk on TWIG, please send information to: Communications (Marc Airhart & J.B. Bird) To also promote it via the digital screens, follow the instructions below.

Digital Signs

To promote your lecture, tech session, or talk on the digital signs, please send information to:

You can send information for the digital signs in two forms:

  1. Plain e-mail. Be sure to include: Title (e.g. “Path Integral Technique for Improved Seismic Imaging”), Type of Event (e.g. Tech Session, Hydro Brown Bag, etc.), Date/Time, Location, and Speaker, and any photo or figure you would like included on a digital screen. Submissions to the e-mail will appear in the weekly TWIG e-mail, its Web page listing, and on the digital screens, assuming the material is appropriate.
     
  2. Power Point slide. This will give you the flexibility to make your own slide for the screens. Templates can be downloaded from the JSG Intranet site.

Deadlines: Submit by 11 a.m. on the Friday before the week of your event for inclusion in TWIG and posting on the digital signs. An email version of TWIG will go out Friday afternoon. When necessary we will send an updated TWIG on Mondays.
