Geology 383M  -  Petrography of Carbonates

Thin-section and hand-specimen study of mudrocks, carbonate rocks, and chemical sediments, with emphasis on paragenetic and environmental interpretation. Three lecture hours and two laboratory hours a week for one semester. Offered irregularly. Prerequisite: Graduate standing.
