Geology 416M - Sedimentary Rocks



Description and interpretation of sedimentary rocks in hand specimen and thin section; characteristics of sedimentary rocks deposited in different environments. Three lecture hours and four laboratory hours a week for one semester with two additional one-day field trips. Prerequisite: Geological Sciences 401, 303, or 312K with a grade of at least C.
