| Introduction to minerals, mineral study
techniques, igneous and metamorphic rocks and ore deposits, and
formation processes. Three lecture hours and four laboratory hours a
week for one semester. Normally offered in the fall semester only.
Prerequisite: Geological Sciences 401, 303, or 312K with a grade of at
least C, Chemistry 301 with a grade of at least C, and credit with a
grade of at least C or registration for Chemistry 302. |
