DR. FISHER
Dr. Fisher's principal areas of research are in basin analysis, sequence stratigraphy, depositional systems, and petroleum geology. His principal areas of interest have been the Gulf Coast Basin, Brazilian Offshore, and Venezuela. Student research has literally been from almost all continents and at both the regional and reservoir scale, generally with clastic sediments, and generally involving work with integrated data sets.
Dr. Fisher has long maintained research and analysis in energy resource assessment and energy policy issues. He has focused on the advanced recovery of mobile oil and gas and has particular interest in the role of technology and ingenuity in expanding the resource base of oil and natural gas.
