This database includes analyses of Trans-Pecos Cenozoic igneous rocks made available in publications, theses, and dissertations from 1970 onward. That year was picked as the earliest for which meaningful trace-element data are regularly available in rock analyses from this magmatic province, although many analyses continued to be made without trace elements.  Numbers at the end of each description are keyed to the list of references. When data for a sample have been published more than once, only the latest reference, commonly with augmented trace-element data, is cited. For some analyses no reference is cited because the analyses, made by the late G. Karl Hoops in The Department of Geological Sciences, the University of Texas at Austin, have never appeared in publications, theses, or dissertations.
