Kirt Kempter recently completed his Ph.D. at the University of Texas at Austin under the supervision of Dr. Dan Barker. He is currently a Post-Doctorate Fellow at the Bureau of Economic Geology, and leads tours to Costa Rica, Iceland, and Copper Canyon, Mexico, for the Smithsonian Institution. Kirt also has musical pursuits, which can be explored at Artist Access.
