Joining the faculty of the Department of Geological Sciences at The University of Texas at Austin in 1994, my research integrates high-precision U-Pb geochronology and field work to constrain tectonic evolution of Archean and Proterozoic terrains and processes of mid- to deep-crustal levels. Current research consists of projects in W. Greenland, N. Labrador (Canada), S. Scandinavia, W. South America and Antarctica. Our Laboratory is capable of routine conventional (TIMS) analyses of U-bearing phases as well as low-Pb and single zircon grain analysis when necessary. Browse through the following sections and please contact me if you have questions/comments.
