Since joining the faculty at UT, my research has focused on characterization of fractures, development of detachment folds, structure and regional tectonics of the Sierra Madre Oriental and the Central Andes, and comparisons of geologic with geodetic measurements of strain rate.  New work addresses temporal patterns of geyser eruption and structure along the volcanic arc of the Central Andes.
