Dr. Bill Stone monitors the scanning
process at Azufrosa. The LADAR scanner rotates horizontally 360
degrees and tilts up and down a predetermined angle to generate a data
file which represents the three-dimensional location of each object the
laser reflects off. The spatial resolution is typically
sub-centimeter, and much better at close range.
