Geo 335 - Geology & Mineral Resources of Texas

Spring Semester, 2005

Welcome to the website for GEO 358K Volcanology, an upper division geological sciences elective on volcanic processes and products at the University of Texas at Austin.  The website is designed to provide information for prospective students about the nature of the course, as well as information that will be useful for registered students to complete course assignments.

Geology 358K is a substantial writing component course; writing assignments can be directed toward individual student interests.

The website currently has many sections that are obsolete, reflecting the nature of the course when last taught in Spring, 2003.  The course is in the process of being redesigned; the course website will be revised as time permits; if you have any questions or comments about the course, you should contact the instructors, Jim Gardner gardner@mail.utexas.edu, or Rich Kyle rkyle@mail.utexas.edu.

To make navigation easy, reduce load time, and allow for future expansion, Geo 358K has been subdivided by topic. Please click on the topic of interest. For example, if you would like to read the course syllabus, click on the syllabus name or the volcano button.
