Geology Department field
trip for Tectonics I (GEO 371C/391) spring 2005.
Rocks are argillaceous limestones of the Taraises Fm., with bedding up
on end, at Can Escalera, Mexico in the Sierra Madre Oriental. White stripe running diagonally
across the image consists of sparry calcite and fibrous dolomite in a
